Lady Raiders end four-game losing slide

   Habersham Central’s softball team beat Shiloh 10-1 Thursday night to end a four-game losing slide.    On Tuesday, the Lady Raiders dropped their fourth game in a row Tuesday night, falling 12-4 to Lanier.

Habersham Central, White County both looking to stay undefeated

   In a battle for the Chattahoochee River, offenses could be free flowing on Friday night at Raider Stadium.    White County visits Habersham Central in a battle of undefeated teams who have shown they can find the end zone.

Tallulah Falls volleyball gets back to .500

   Despite a slow start to the year, the Tallulah Falls volleyball team is finding its stride as the season winds down.    On Saturday, TFS (12-12, 3-1) got back to .500 for the first time this season with two victories over Shiloh and Loganville.

Lady Raiders volleyball hits rough patch

   Habersham Central’s volleyball team dropped a tightly contested non-region matchup with Cherokee Bluff last Thursday.     The five-set match was a back-and-forth affair, with the Bears taking a tightly-contested first set 25-18.

Habersham Central senior Kivett leads Raider runners

   Running has always come naturally for Andrew Kivett. A soccer player as a child, Kivett said he remembers his parents praising his talent for running that he didn’t fully realize until his high school years.    “My parents always told me I had a gift for running,” Kivett said.

Tedder is everywhere for Raiders in first two games

   The Habersham Central Raiders softball team are the latest in a long line of teams that have fallen victim to Buford Wolves this season with a 14-1 loss Tuesday, dropping them to 14-8.    The Wolves – who are 17-2 and haven’t lost a game since Aug.
