Cornelia: Full of possibilities for the future

It is well known that the City of Cornelia has undergone a transformation in recent years, with a high focus on the beautification of the downtown area.

2022 Homecoming Candidates

Habersham Central’s homecoming game is Oct. 28, but voting is underway to determine its king and queen. On Thursday, the top 5 candidates in each group will be announced, with king and queen voting to take place Oct. 19-21 when the students return from fall break.

Investigators still piecing together Collier's murder

Better safe than sorry, county eyes Ian

With a major hurricane expected to bring heavy rains to Georgia this weekend, Habersham County is hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Already landing in Cuba on Tuesday, Hurricane Ian then made its way to Florida, putting approximately 2.

Raiders take on Jackson County in special Thursday tilt

   Habersham County's football team went on the road a day early Thursday and had its toughest loss of the year, falling 38-13 at Jackson County.    The Raiders struggled offensively and lost more defensive players to injury.
