Folks will come out Friday night as Clarkesville keeps the July fun coming at Pitts Parkwith Red, White and Tunes. The event beginning at 6 p.m. will be filled with live music, activities, food, and patriotic fireworks. Food and beverages will be available in the park as well as in town.

Dr. Roderic “Bo” Rochester was named the 2022 recipient of the B.J. Palmer Lifetime Achievement Award. This international award honors one upper cervical chiropractor who has spent a lifetime devoted to the philosophy, science, and art of upper cervical chiropractic.

A man sought by law enforcement in three counties was apprehended by Gwinnett County Police. Henry Parker Whitley, 30, of Lawrenceville was captured after three weeks on the run at a car dealership at the Mall of Georgia.
