Thursday’s National Day of Prayer was recognized across Habersham County in all seven municipalities, starting early in the morning at Tallulah Falls School.

Habersham County Sheriff’s Office trains its deputies above and beyond the mandatory levels to deal with mental health and related crises. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Habersham County PIO Kevin Angell said the deputies here stress these issues all year long.

National Day of Prayer is Thursday

The National Day of Prayer will be observed throughout Habersham County by its citizens on May 5, 2022. A special observance for Cornelia will occur on Thursday May 5 at 1 p.m. at the Big Red Apple. The VFW Post 7720 will present the colors at 1 p.m.
