Facelift for Wood's Mercantile

Wood’s Mercantile in Clarkesville is working on a renovation facelift for their outside facade that will include a new logo and sign. “Since we bought the building in 2019, we felt the portico was a little dated,” owner Kevin Wood said.

Sip & Stroll a success

Clarkesville’s new Sip & Stroll events on the first Friday night of the summer months has been a rousing success in its first two iterations. The events have featured music, games and vendors, and they only figure to grow as the summer rolls on.
