Racism starts in the mind To the editor: After reading Ms. Crump’s letter concerning a 4-year-old African-American child that was possibly aggressive to other children, it made me think of an incident that happened to me years ago.

More than somewhat offended To the editor: I take exception to a letter printed in the June 23 issue, which stated that “the two idiots who are trying to run our country … don’t have enough sense to be a dog catcher.
