A time to gather stones together

Habersham County needs to get serious about its future, and there is no time like the present. The county will be down one commissioner until November, with the qualifying period now about five weeks away to see who will take the next three years in the seat for District 5.

Honor the Tatums at the airport To the editor: David Bristol is leading in the effort to name the airport in honor of Jim and Marvene Tatum. He appreciates the fact that Jim Tatum taught him how to fly airplanes. He files big jets along with Jim’s son Chris. I owe a lot to Jim and Marvene.
