Trump did not get credit To the editor: Let’s see if I can get this right. At the very beginning of the pandemic, then-President Trump did halt all incoming flights from China incurring the wrath of the democratic Party leadership for doing so.

Pushing off the bank, I told him it would get better. With a few twists of the paddle from the bow, the john boat was positioned just right for both boys to make a cast down the bank. However, our Habersham native son, the younger one, was torqued completely out by the swarm.

A year that changed everything

This week marks the one-year anniversary of Georgia declaring a public health state of emergency in the face of the emerging coronavirus, known to everyone now as COVID-19. It’s incredible how many things are different from just a year ago.

Habersham County was chosen for one of the first four COVID-19 mass vaccination sites in the state of Georgia. Even with the addition of five new sites coming on March 17, the site at the Habersham County Fairgrounds will still be called upon to serve most of North Georgia. Gov.
