Kudos to Boys & Girls Club

To the editor: My grandchildren are members of the Boys & Girls Club of Lanier – Tim Lee Club. They attended last summer and had so much fun interacting with other kids their age and taking some out-of-town trips; two of those were the aquarium in Atlanta and the zoo in Hartwell.

More musings on biscuits

To the editor: Not too long ago, there was a letter to the editor that highlighted the magnificence of homemade biscuits, particularly the ones made in both local and chain restaurants in Habersham County. Lots at stake in midterm

To the editor: The open border policy of President Biden and the Democrats has provided the U.S. with a flood of more than 2 million immigrants and, even more devastating, a killer drug business. On Feb. 16, the DEA reported drug overdose deaths exceeded 100,000 over a 12-month period.

A seasonal thing

To the editor: I have always enjoyed immensely the fall season. As the year progresses, I find myself once again negotiating with God. I promise to be a better person if He will only allow me to enjoy one more amazing fall. He, of course, has done His part. As for my part, not so much.
