After a scintillating performance, members of the Central Gwinnett High School band sat down on the track on the home side of Raider Stadium on Friday night. They wanted to see what the Band of Blue would produce, and the home band did not disappoint.

Since 1975 Habersham County’s own Chattahoochee Mountain Fair has thrilled locals and visitors to our community. This week-long event has become a family tradition providing countless laughs and lasting memories.

Who wants to see a bye week after putting up 42 points? I sure didn’t, the coaches at Habersham Central didn’t and the Raiders didn’t. It seems like a million years since the White County game, as college football has played two full weeks since.

The Grant-Reeves VFW Post 7720 Veterans Jamboree was moved inside on Saturday due to the poor weather, but that did not dampen the spirits and the camaraderie found in the post’s Cornelia headquarters.
