Michaela Krippner hasn’t had the same kind of childhood others her age have had growing up. She’s dealt with medical issues since she was just a toddler and has experienced more hardships than most people endure in a lifetime, but that’s done nothing but make the 10-year-old from Mt. Airy stronger.

Addie Penick’s three-goal performance was a welcome sight in the eyes of Habersham Central High School Girls’ Soccer Coach Jeff LaBarbera Friday as the hat trick helped lead the Lady Raiders to a 5-2 victory over the visiting Dawson County High School Lady Tigers.
