TFS walks it off, gets within win of 1A state quarterfinals

   After dropping game 1 of its best-of-3 series in enemy territory Monday, the Tallulah Falls baseball team had to do what it’s already done a couple times this month – bounce back quickly.

Habersham’s super soccer seasons end in 2nd round

   An early blow added further difficulty to an already uphill battle Friday night for the Habersham Central boys soccer team. The Raiders fell 4-1 to a stout Sprayberry club in the GHSA Sweet 16.    “It’s tough to lose it,” said HCHS coach Ric Wallace.

Tallulah Falls baseball needs one win for Elite 8

   Tallulah Falls' baseball team split its opening two games against Pepperall on Monday, then stayed in town for a winner-take-all Game 3 on Tuesday night. The Indians won 6-4 to advance to the Elite 8.

Football Ring of Honor adds five new legends

Indians soccer teams fall in tight 2nd round games

   Another dominant soccer campaign came to a halt Wednesday at Tallulah Falls’ Amick Field, as both the Indians and Lady Indians were bounced from the GHSA Sweet 16. Each squad fell to Mount Vernon by a 2-1 margin.    The TFS soccer program had a unique postseason.

   For all the rightfully earned hype that went into both region champ Habersham soccer teams hosting State playoff matches last week, the games themselves were about as lackluster as they come. That is unless you like lopsided scores and mercy rules.

Nine Raider track athletes advance to sectional meet

   The Habersham Central Track & Field team traveled to Apalachee (Winder) Thursday and Friday for region championships. Nine Raider athletes – one relay team and six individuals punched their tickets to GHSA state sectionals early next month.    Audrey Hotard continues to tear it up on the oval.
