Lady Raiders get early start on offseason workouts

   In the Spring of 2019, Habersham Central girls basketball coach Bill Bradley and wife Kim noticed a void during the hoops offseason. So, taking some big time initiative, Kim spearheaded an SQA campaign. SQA stands for Speed/Strength, Quickness and Agility.

TFS gets two top 10s in state; Lady Raiders take 9th

   The golf teams of Tallulah Falls School competed in the boys and girls state tournaments for Georgia Class A Division I on Monday.

Indians’ amazing run ends in finals

   The Tallulah Falls School baseball team fell short of a state title after being swept by Prince Avenue Christian School in the Georgia Class A Division I state championship series Friday in Statesboro.

Raiders test their skills in stalemate with Hart

   The Habersham Central football team welcomed Hart County to Mt. Airy Friday night for the two clubs’ annual spring game.    Rather than the typical rules and nuances you might see in a regulation game, things were more relaxed and controlled Friday evening.

Lady Raiders post strong showing in finale

   Habersham Central and Apple Mountain Golf Course hosted the GHSA 6A Girls State Golf Championship this week in Clarkesville. Despite going up against some stiff competition, the Lady Raiders held their own over the 2-day event to deliver a 10th-place finish.    Johns Creek took the state title.

Business trip ahead for TFS

   It was all business Wednesday at the Tallulah Falls baseball team’s final practice ahead of Friday’s state championship.

Raiders spring forward tonight

   With the spring game against Hart County set for tonight under the lights at Raider Stadium, the Habersham community will get its first glimpse of the 2024 Raider football team.    The squad only recently got back in pads when spring practice kicked into gear on the final day of April.

Rowe seeks to go out big in state tourney

   Just days prior to graduation, Habersham Central senior and arguably the best golfer the school has ever seen will get one final shot at doing right by the Raiders.

Indians seek the ultimate prize

   Tallulah Falls’ magical run continued Friday when the Indians toppled Kings Ridge Christian in the state semis to advance to the championship series in Statesboro this weekend.    TFS took Game 1 8-7, then won Game 2 8-3.

Chosewood conquers Rome, wins state discus

   The GHSA state meet in Rome over the weekend pitted the best track and field athletes in Georgia against each other. There’s no bones about it – Habersham’s Brad Chosewood will go down a legend.
