TFS volleyball 9th in Rocky Top tourney

Tallulah Falls’ volleyball team took a pair of wins on Friday in the Rocky Top Tournament in Tennessee and followed it up with a sensational day of play on Saturday. In the final day, TFS won matches over Ridgeland and John Battle, while losing to Station Camp.

It seemed like Habersham Central’s defense was on the field all night Friday at White County, but no one can say the Raiders did not make the most of that time.

Lady Raiders battle Shiloh, Lanier on the court

The Raiders swept both matches in their first night of region play, coming out on top over the Shiloh Generals and Lanier Longhorns.  Lady Raiders 2, Generals 0 Habersham Central defeated the Shiloh Generals in straight sets, winning the first by a score of 25-14, and the second 25-8.

Lady Raiders' softball takes on Winder-Barrow in regional matchup

   The Lady Raiders softball team won 10-0 in dominating fashion over region rival Shiloh on Tuesday night, boosting their record to 8-5 and 3-2 in region play.    Habersham Central’s offense was on fire from the first pitch.

Prince leads TFS cross country runners

Evan Prince finished seventh overall at the AT&T Starr’s Mill Panther Meet in Fayetteville on Saturday morning to lead the Tallulah Falls cross country teams. The boys had a couple finish with personal records. The boys finished 22nd overall, while the varsity girls came in 25th.

Lanier gets back at Habersham softball

Habersham Central’s softball team continued their streak of alternating wins and losses last Thursday with a 6-3 loss to the Lanier Longhorns, who they beat by a run at home just the day before. The loss puts them at 7-5 overall and 2-2 in Region 8-6A play.

Lady Raiders split home tri-match

The Habersham Central Lady Raiders volleyball team split their tri-match games last Thursday, Sept. 2, bringing their record to an impressive 8-3 on the season. They lost in straight sets to the Dawson County Tigers – losing 25-19 in the first and 25-20 in the second – in their first match.
