Baldwin makes final cuts to 2022-23 budget

Baldwin City Council proceeded with formal adoption of a balanced 2023 budget at a special called meeting Friday by unanimous vote.
The final approval comes after several months of discussion by council members seeking to slash a deficit of more than $500,000.

It’s time to make plans to commemorate 200 years since the establishment of the village of Clarkesville on Dec. 10, 1823.
A committee is forming now to lead the yearlong celebration in 2023.
