Thankful for our first responders

During what some in Habersham County have called a once-a-century rain event over the weekend, we once again cannot underscore the importance of first responders in our community. As the rain fell — and fell some more — our rescue and emergency personnel were there for the county.

To claim or disclaim To the editor: In earlier letters, I have mentioned disclaimers in TV commercials. I am stunned how many people have no idea what they are. Disclaimers are that pesky wording on a commercial detailing possible negative aspects of a commercials service or product.
