In it for the long haul To the editor: I am a 64-year-old COVID-19 long hauler suffering from post-viral syndrome. I have been ill for almost five of the past seven months. I was unable to get tested in March in Georgia.  After a three-week recovery, I felt well enough to get back to life.

As if this election could not get more frustrating, we have been inundated with political text messages pinging of our cell phones.

Voting is important every time

Habersham County, like most of America, is coming out in droves to vote in the general election. We have a potential record turnout building and it is only Oct. 23, with more than 30% of our registered voters here casting their ballots by the end of the first week of early voting.
