Take COVID-19 seriously To the editor: We would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, donations, kind words, and for being there for us after the loss of our beloved daughter and sister, Donna Lynne Blalock. We were cheated.

Election time once more To the editor: It seems like once a week I receive a letter asking for money to help a candidate win the election. More frustrating are the telephone calls which come in to the house phone. To solve it, I do not answer unless it is a number I recognize on the caller ID.

Fill out that Census

We can’t afford to be irregular

They call them “voting irregularities,” that’s the politically correct term. The phrase does not sound so bad on the surface, but it could do irreparable damage in our democracy.

Officers meant no harm to child To the editor: To the grandparent who filed the complaint about the Demorest Police for following the regulations of their duty I would like to make a comment. We all have a place and duty to ourselves and society. Please don’t try to make life any harder.

Letters to the Editor
