   Our legislature just finished redrawing the district maps in a special session, and hopefully, that will be the last time they have to do that for a while.    After two weeks of extra work, our representatives and senators get to go home to their families for Christmas.

   Sweet memories of our childhood and days gone by – we all have them. Often as I’m driving through the downtowns of Georgia, something will trigger a thought of an event from my childhood and pull it into clear focus, allowing me to enjoy it one more time.
