   They say if you do not like the weather in North Georgia, wait a day. That especially applies in the winter time, when we have no idea whether we will get a cold snap, or a flood or just plain 65 degrees in the afternoon on New Year’s Day.

God’s wrath = great anger To the editor:    Do you believe the Bible? I do and it makes me think, does it you? God’s wrath is not preached very often but that doesn’t remove God’s wrath, does it? God’s wrath is in the Bible and it also tells us God never changes.

   If you should read that I died under an avalanche, it won’t be on a ski slope in the Swiss Alps.    Oh, no.    I’d probably enjoy a trip to Switzerland, but there’s another avalanche more likely to smother me. It’s the leaning tower of books that I have on deck to read.

Don’t risk innocent lives on the highway

   The new year has already seen a handful of wrecks on Highway 365, one of the most dangerous roads in North Georgia.    Fortunately, no one has been killed so far in 2024, but that first time is sadly inevitable.

‘Why’ questions important to ask   To the editor:    Thank you for publishing Jack Sharpshair’s letter on Dec. 22. He nailed it with his list of “Why” questions. I know many readers of The Northeast Georgian have thought these thoughts before.  Like why do we have 28 degrees and global warming?
