Raiders basketball sinks Indians

By Landen Todd The Raiders (8-2, 1-0) cruised 75-47 and the Lady Raiders (5-4, 0-1) dominated 61-29 against Stephens County at the Raider Gymnasium on Friday, Dec. 19. There was a Raider Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony in between games for Rita Tench Gunter and Kevin Queen.

Pantoja finds passion in Jiu-jitsu

Basketball teams win back-to-back games

By Landen Todd The Lady Raiders and Raiders won back-to-back nights against Franklin County on Monday, Dec. 8 and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee on Dec. 9, all at the Raider Gymnasium. Lady Raiders Habersham Central conquered the Lions 61-45 and came out on top 41-33 against the Eagles.

Lady Raiders historic season ends

Webb wins first game ever as head coach

By Landen Todd Habersham Central Girls Basketball Coach Brianna Webb got her first win ever under her belt by a dominating 61-45 win over the Broncos at East Forsyth High School on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
The Demorest native Mason Kinsey now has the most games played in the NFL by someone who played for the Habersham Central Raiders. The 27-year-old wide receiver has now played 19 games all with the Tennessee Titans, surpassing the great Habersham legend wide receiver Tavarres King who played 17 games in his NFL career. Rothell heads to TMU

Lady Raiders close season with two wins

By Landen Todd The Habersham Central High School flag football team closed its first regular season ever with two wins on senior night at Raider Stadium  on Wednesday, Nov. 19. They beat Gainesville 19-7 and beat Elbert County 21-7.
