Coach Herrin reaches 250th career win

By Landen Todd The Lady Raiders fell to region opponent Loganville (25-15, 16-25, 14-16) and beat Alcovy for the second time (25-6, 25-5) at Loganville High School on Thursday, Sept. 18. HCHS Volleyball Head Coach Lindsay Herrin picked up her 250th career win.

HCHS beats Bulldoggs, fall to Panthers

By Landen Todd The Habersham Central High School volleyball team beat region opponent Winder-Barrow (25-22, 25-20) and lost in two sets to Jackson County (10-25, 12-25) at Raider Gymnasium on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The Lady Raiders were on a seven win streak before falling to the Panthers.

Webb named new girls basketball coach

By Landen Todd Brianna Webb, who is already Habersham Central High School flag football head coach, was confirmed as the new girls basketball head coach on Tuesday, Sept. 16 by Athletic Director Geep Cunningham. Former head coach Bill Bradley resigned from his role on Aug. 27.

Raiders dominate Loganville, 41-0

By Landen Todd The Habersham Central High football team (3-2, 1-0) demolished the Red Devils (0-5, 0-1)  41-0 at Raider Stadium on Friday, Sept. 12. The Raiders played their most complete game on both sides of the ball.

Region play starts at Raider Stadium

Habersham takes care of business against Warriors

By Landen Todd The Lady Raiders beat the Warriors for the second time this season (25-17, 25-7, 25-27, 25-19) at Raider Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 4. Habersham Central is 13-3 on the season. The first set had Habersham Central keeping a comfy lead and looked solid by winning its first set.

Raiders sink at Cherokee Bluff

By Landen Todd The Habersham Central High football team (2-2, 0-0) could not get anything going in a 35-14 loss against the Bears (3-1, 0-0) at Bear Stadium on Friday, Sept. 5. The game was riddled with lightning delays and ended up being called early.

Girls basketball Head Coach Bill Bradley resigns

By Landen Todd Bill Bradley resigned from his role as Habersham Central High School's girls basketball head coach. He confirmed his resignation to The Northeast Georgian Friday afternoon. He led the Lady Raiders for eight years. Bradley reached his 100th victory at the program’s helm last season.
