Often, through careful observation, things can be discerned regarding the condition of people’s hearts. If you look around, people are walking with their shoulders drooping a bit due to anxiety, despair, and sadness. As of this morning, 3.5 million refugees have fled from Ukraine.

I want to respond to a person who has lived here upon retirement for six years. He is complaining about grocery prices. It is the first time that he has lived in a town with only one grocery store. He refers to an empty store a few blocks away that has been empty the whole time he has been here.
