Now I understand

I have endured countless programs of “news and variety shows”. Ironically, they all claim to be the “most watched” show. I have experienced a nagging sensation that I am missing something. It occurred to me that, apparently, these commentators all receive their speech training from the same school.

New justice is inspirational

We are reclaiming our time. Congratulations to Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on becoming the first African American woman to serve on the Supreme Court, and the “most qualified judge” to ever hold office.

Tennis players pushed aside

It seems to me (and others) that the campaign to repurpose two of the four public tennis courts located behind the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center for pickleball use only has been as much about suppressing tennis in Habersham County as about promoting pickleball.
