Decision on presidential vote To the editor:    Please vote for Kamala Harris for president. Five people were killed on Jan. 6, which should be five counts of second degree manslaughter against Donald Trump. So it should be 39 felony counts, not 34.

This car is a Vibe – literally and figuratively

   In 2005, I bought a barely-used Pontiac Vibe at a small dealership in Robbinsville, N.C.    Today, that car is parked in front of my house. That’s right, it survived 19 years and almost 300,000 miles.    Like Han Solo once said, I’ve made a few modifications myself.
