   On my bedside table, by a stack of books, there is a Dale Murphy baseball card I received in the mail from my friend Ted Smith after he moved to Florida.    On the back of the card, I left a posted note that reads, “Alan, this is yours or give it to whom you wish – Ted.

Preserve our cemeteries To the editor:    I go to Level Grove cemetery all the time. I do what I can. I have noticed vandalism at some of the cemeteries. I love going to them. It gives me peace.
