Clarifying God’s word   To the editor:    Common sense isn’t too common anymore.    Read Genesis in the Holy Bible. It can clear up most of any confusion you have. Disobedience to God’s word is not new.    There is only one race – the human race. We are made in the image of God.

Nothing like a double barrel load of adrenaline

   Channeling your inner catlike, ninja balance while defying gravity like Spud Webb can be difficult. Especially, when you’re bone tired, three decades past your teenage years and standing barefoot in an unfamiliar wet shower in a different time zone.    But there I was.

The people deserve action

   The process to deal with the old courthouse in Clarkesville has been interminable, as local leaders have failed to find a solution to the gigantic eyesore that sits in the middle of downtown.    There have been many opportunities in the past.

Trump is bad news   To the editor:    I wonder why people are supporting Trump. Is it because they feel he is a strong leader? Truth is, he only wants power and money and not for the good of the country.

Moving – is there anything worse?

It was one of those “record scratch” moments. You know, when you are watching a movie and the record scratches, the movie stops and the narrator says “I bet you’re wondering how I got here.” That was me last weekend, laying on the floor of my youngest son’s bedroom, looking up at the ceiling.
