To the editor: Today, the DEA is reporting over 100,000 American overdose deaths from fentanyl last year. This year is expected to exceed last year. Our border with Mexico is wide open to drug dealers and human transporters. Hundreds of immigrants are dead due to closed transportation vehicles.

We need to use state surplus wisely

Appreciation for our farmers

True local journalism lives

The internet is the single-greatest source of fuel for fake news and misinformation. A perfect example of that sprung up last week in the aftermath of the bombing of the Georgia Guidestones in Elberton.
