Here’s to year 32

As I woke up on my 32nd birthday on Sunday, I did a little bit of self-reflecting. It almost felt like I was planning my New Year’s resolution or something. This year is going to be more about making the most of my time, but also being more intentional about slowing down.

Taking Georgia from strength to strength

I was in kindergarten when I got my first allowance – complete with a contract between my parents and me. Among its wise provisions was that I couldn’t spend a single week’s allowance all at once, but if I saved for multiple weeks I could spend all my money on one item.

A wave of ‘likes’ flushes away thoughts of a ‘dislike’

With the polls putting the presidential election in a coin toss, we are being bombarded with trash talk. To survive the final campaign days, my brain has erected a firewall declaring, “Enough of that!”    Instead, I have been focused on “likes” opposed to “dislikes.
