I laugh at my kids all the time, deriding how dumb some of their video games are.
Sure, they still play Legend of Zelda – or at least modern derivations of it – but they are always trying to catch Pokemon, or nab some dude in Fortnite, or whatever and none of it matters to me at all.

Here we are in June, and my paperwork from 2022 is still waiting to be filed. Just too busy with “this/that.” And the problem with “this/that” is it sometimes gets you blacklisted by an organization you felt was your friend and protector.

Today I received an email from our duly elected member of the House of Representatives, Andrew Clyde, in which he declared “Joe Biden is the most corrupt president in U.S. history.
With local governments all raising taxes in the last year, we have heard a lot of speeches from local officials about living within our means.
We all have to do it at home, they usually say, so why should government not be held to the same standard with our tax dollars? Live within your means.
Just before dusk Wednesday evening, I jumped on my riding lawn mower to trim the grass ahead of the rain. Pulling around to the front of our house, I could see Heather, William and Fenn being led on a walk by our seventeen-year-old pup, Bella.
