Community connection is crucial

Stand against climate change

Cut down on plastic

To the editor: Among the solutions being considered to alleviate the landfill issues, it seems that reducing the amount that is delivered would be the foremost issue to tackle. A suggestion – encourage stores to have a “plastic free” aisle. Shampoo and conditioners are available in bar form.

Fox thinks we’re ‘morons’

To the editor: The Dominion voting machines court case was delayed a day as Fox News carfated plans to avoid the case by settling out of court. The evidence is strong as Dominion has copies of emails showing Fox and its people knew that President Biden won but continued to report Trump won.

Giving their time, energy

Habersham County was at its best Monday when it hosted the Special Olympics for the first time in four years. All the athletes, volunteers and school personnel came together to put on a spectacular event attended by hundreds of locals cheering on their friends and family members.

Gone, but not forgotten

Joe “Little Joe” Collins and Jamie Fenn, I’ll never forget the two of you. Times have changed a lot since the summer of 1991 for the better and the worse. We grew up in a magical time in Southeast Georgia in the 70s and 80s.
