Cody Road is a nightmare

To the editor: Cody Road is one of the busiest roads, but someone forgot to update and pave the road. It was a fresh paved road back in 2019, but they started patching the road but guess what? They quit updating the busy road called Cody Road. Please see for yourselves.

On March 23, 2022, we asked all parties involved to “Get off the treadmill” with regards to the development of the old courthouse property in Clarkesville. And we have been asking for the old courthouse to be demolished for the better part of a decade.

All equal before God

To the editor: A few weeks ago, I read a story about Republicans. It said that 50 percent of Republicans support, or agree, that America should be a Christian Nationalist country. Marjorie Taylor Greene said, basically,  the same thing. I was shocked. America is plural.

We need senior housing

To the editor: Since Clarkesville says that it is a great place to retire, why do they not have decent housing for seniors? I would love for someone to start a housing development in an area close to downtown, so we could use a golf cart.
